I just got back from a great day at the Esbjerg Fantasy Festival. It always feels like coming home, not because I was born and raised in Esbjerg, but because I get to spend the day with fellow nerds. Fantasy novels, tabletop RPGs and tons of people cosplaying their favourite characters. Getting to smile knowingly at someone’s choice of a t-shirt featuring a software company from the 80s next to a medieval knight and a fierce elven princess warrior, all without anyone raising an eyebrow.

I love being a nerd and being surrounded by my tribe!
